How can I modify the animations from your pack?

Written by Howard Blietz

All of our Unreal packs come with included .FBX files on our character which can be taken into your preferred animation software such as Maya, 3dsMax, or Motionbuilder. Also inside of Unreal you can export to .fbx. A good workflow might be to take our animations, retarget them to your character and tweak the settings to be as close as possible. Then export those to .fbx. You will be able to further edit inside of a 3d software of your choice. I will point out that if you change animations beyond retargeting you will probably have to redo pose matches and loops so be aware. Also for this kind of extensive modification to the animation Motionbuilder would most likely be the best software to use and has excellent tools for this. Maya would have the second-best toolset.
